Analysis of the global trends of the human development index and the factors affecting it (case of study: developed and developing countries)

Abstract
The general goal of the research is to analyze the global trends of the Human Development Index and the factors affecting it.This research is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive-library in terms of information gathering.The necessary information has been collected through the examination of academic documents(books,articles,and theses)and also by searching the Internet.Countries like Switzerland,Norway,Iceland,Hong Kong,Australia,China,Iran,Iraq,India, and Pakistan were selected in this research.The approach of this research is futures studies based on the analysis of statistics and information extracted from valid scientific documents.the content analysis method was used in this research.The findings indicate that the global trend of Iran's Human Development Index during the years 2018–2022 has experienced a downward trend,so that Iran has fallen from 70th to 78th rank in these years.Among the studied countries,Switzerland(very high human development)and Pakistan(low human development)had the most suitable andthe most unsuitable situation in terms of the Human Development Index,respectively.the factors influencing the global trends of human resources development were examined from the perspective of experts,and in total,3 main factors were identified in the form of health factors,educational-cultural factors,and economic-political factors,and 31 sub-factors were identified.Therefore,considering the importance of the Human Development Index in the country's development plans,in the field of health,policymakers are advised to consider the policies of prevention and control of non-communicable diseases.In the field of education,it is necessary for policymakers to take basic steps in order to reduce educational inequalities and injustice,and to prepare programs in the field of using new educational methods and strengthening the skill and cognitive dimensions of people.
