General Persian education, as one of the important and influential general courses and three-unit topics, with a comprehensive audience and with different academic disciplines and orientations, has always been the focus of attention and concern of educational planners, authors, professors, and students. This teaching aims to make students more familiar with the Persian language, as a symbol of national unity and cohesion, and to recognize and introduce the great and valuable literary, scientific, cultural, mystical, and other heritages. In addition, learning the skill of reading and correctly understanding Persian poetry and prose texts, benefiting from the beauties and subtleties hidden in the treasures of Persian literature, and practicing and making more effort to learn grammar, spelling, writing, and editing are among the goals of this course. Payame Noor University's General Persian is one of dozens of examples of this university textbook that has recently been printed and published. The purpose of this research - which was conducted through documentary, descriptive, library collection, and ultimately content criticism, review, and analysis - is to study and critically read this book, reveal its strengths and weaknesses, and as a result, revise and correct it. Finally, this study concludes that despite all the worthy and commendable efforts of the authors to prepare and compile a valuable and lasting work, numerous shortcomings are evident in various parts of this book, which makes it necessary to review, change, and correct it to appropriately respond to the needs and create greater motivation in the audience.
